Fall of 2017 marks a cornerstone when the headquarters of Nature Foods SIA was opened in Riga, Latvia. It was the beginning of a long thought out idea of Dr. Prof Markus Masin. More than five years ago the plan of opening a food and beverage company that would produce and create natural foods rich with essential nutrients was born. Finally, it has become a reality.
Nature Foods is a food and beverage company with the main focus on natural, plant based food products and dairy free beverages. The company combines the medical and nutritional knowledge of Dr. Markus Masin with a team of clinical nutritionists specializing in technical innovations in food production, and is led by food scientists and researchers.
Here, at Nature Foods, we have gathered a team of international professionals. Together we are working to create an innovative plant protein milk alternative. Nature Foods’ main goal is to offer consumers a delicious drink that is better for people, the planet, and, of course, billions of cows. Also, the company is working to provide a variety of delicious snacks made from pulses. These snacks are crispy and flavourful, while at the same time providing all the amazing nutritious value of legumes.
The company’s focus is on developing new methods of food production to increase the use of legumes in a regular diet. Our scientists have already created a process that eliminates the distinct pea flavour and aroma from pea protein and pea food products, as well as significantly increasing the digestibility of legumes. We are keen to introduce you with our products already in 2018. We believe plant based food is the future of food production. That’s why we support growing, rather than raising, protein sources.
